The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute FC Moleneindse Boys were awarded a corner. Kenneth van der Werff went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Moleneindse Boys's Kenneth van der Werff to fire away a dangerous shot which Camillo Cagnetta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Adriaan Boekholt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ove Thedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Pijnacker's goal looked a bit too open when Arboleda Galdia came free, but Camillo Cagnetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camillo Cagnetta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roel Kromkamp in the 22nd minute of play. Camillo Cagnetta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roel Kromkamp in the 24th minute of the match. Adriaan Boekholt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benet Argoños in the 25th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Pijnacker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Cebula to maneuver through the defense. Adriaan Boekholt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Thedin in the 42nd minute of play. Benet Argoños took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adriaan Boekholt. Adriaan Boekholt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arboleda Galdia made a kick off. Arboleda Galdia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camillo Cagnetta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. FC Moleneindse Boys were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Pijnacker's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kenneth van der Werff took the corner. FC Moleneindse Boys's Adriaan Boekholt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benet Argoños in the 63rd minute of play. Arboleda Galdia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Cagnetta having to interfere. Pijnacker made a substitution. Roelof van Bronckhorst replaced Gooitzen Smeekes. Adriaan Boekholt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frits Duin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes Pijnacker got a freekick which was hit by Jelmer Kramer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roel Kromkamp in the 79th minute of play forced Pijnacker's goalkeeper Camillo Cagnetta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Mikolaj Pliszka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pijnacker's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Moleneindse Boys the free kick. Mikolaj Pliszka kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Frits Duin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriaan Boekholt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes of play Pijnacker's Mikolaj Pliszka was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 94th minute, Mikolaj Pliszka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pijnacker succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FC Moleneindse Boys had controlled the match.
