The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goal looked a bit too open when Koen Poels came free, but Yorrick Zoethout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Brain Veldman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steven Homan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Steven Homan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Hendrik-Jan Krommert made a huge save. Hendrik-Jan Krommert made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Steven Homan sent off a good shot on target. Koen Poels made a great header on Flashdynamica's corner, it was just that SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout managed to reach the ball for a save. Virgil Lindelöf kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Yorrick Zoethout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Zalm in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Flashdynamica's Tommie Meyer got a free kick in the 36th minute. Steven Homan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hendrik-Jan Krommert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. SV Balverliefd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felix van As in the 39th minute. A collision led to Flashdynamica getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Koen Poels hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barry Zalm made a kick off. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Zalm in the 55th minute of play. Hendrik-Jan Krommert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Homan in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Steven Homan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik-Jan Krommert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes Flashdynamica got a freekick which was hit by Jochem Ijsselhof. Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Scott in the 67th minute of the match. SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Steven Homan came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the SV Balverliefd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steven Homan couldn't finish the play. Steven Homan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hendrik-Jan Krommert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Homan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hendrik-Jan Krommert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Homan, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Flashdynamica's Raymond Fleur was substituted for Koen Poels. Jochem Ijsselhof hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flashdynamica's goalkeeper Hendrik-Jan Krommert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Flashdynamica's Xavi Simons slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yorrick Zoethout. That made the score 0-2 after 87 minutes of play. Flashdynamica's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
