In the 37th minute Henk Cardinaal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Frankena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38th play minutes Perivaldo Eger shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Vincent Frankena and just under the crossbar into goal. The Pisang Goreng United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. De Pelgrims were winning 0-8.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Middeljans to make the kick off. Perivaldo Eger did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-9 to the left of a surprised Vincent Frankena 52 minutes into the match. Vincent Frankena stood somewhat misplaced when Perivaldo Eger came free in front of goal and shot 0-10 to the left of him in the 55 minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Perivaldo Eger in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincent Frankena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Perivaldo Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Henk Cardinaal took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Vincent Frankena to make any attempt to save it. After 71 minutes, Perivaldo Eger made it 0-12 with a short kick to the right side. Pisang Goreng United's Vincent Frankena tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vincent Frankena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Cardinaal in the 74th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Perivaldo Eger put it in 0-13 from a short distance just to the right of Vincent Frankena. After a rather tough play, Pisang Goreng United's Vincent Schulte got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 95th minute of the match, Henk Cardinaal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vincent Frankena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Henk Cardinaal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. De Pelgrims's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
