The Ágætis Byrjun fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Ben Wisgerhof hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Nick Heesen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jelte Zevenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a little luck, Ágætis Byrjun's Georg Hagberg got control of the ball when Benjamin Heck tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Arturo Porreca made a precise shot to the right of Georg Hagberg. Ágætis Byrjun's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Porreca in the 60th minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Georg Hagberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Benjamin Heck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Hagberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregorio Urtsin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Jelte Zevenberg made a huge save. In the 79th match minute, Beetje Moe Re-United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralph Averdijk to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ágætis Byrjun booed when Beetje Moe Re-United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralph Averdijk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Porreca came free, but Georg Hagberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Beetje Moe Re-United defense, Nick Heesen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jelte Zevenberg. The Beetje Moe Re-United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jelte Zevenberg should have stopped the shot. Beetje Moe Re-United's Jelte Zevenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Bartumeu in the 93rd minute of play.
