Nick Heesen might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petr Čech. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nick Heesen ran back to his position shaking his head. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nick Heesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes Ágætis Byrjun got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Urtsin. In the 21st minute Nick Heesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Co Scholten made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luka Ramos however managed to control. In the 40th play minute Nick Heesen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Petr Čech. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

SCs StarS made a substitution. Henk Zijden replaced Edgar Reitsema. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thiago Gol to strike the kick off in the second half. Thiago Gol scored 2-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Georg Hagberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Georg Hagberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Hekman, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Nick Heesen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petr Čech having to make a save. If Jordy Dirks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ágætis Byrjun made a substitution. Alain Roche lost his temper 88 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 87 minutes into the game, one of Ágætis Byrjun:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave SCs StarS a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Florian Hekman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ágætis Byrjun's Georg Hagberg. 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 罗松棋 during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ágætis Byrjun booed when SCs StarS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. 罗松棋 didn't get a good kick on the ball.
