The crowd rose to their feet as De Pelgrims's Huub Gerrits slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of César Fontes. That made the score 2-1 after 43 minutes of play. Mathias de Ruijter scored 3-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of César Fontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Perivaldo Eger in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg César Fontes saved SCARFACE from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Perivaldo Eger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but César Fontes was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Zxavian Goyanes notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of De Pelgrims's Mike Zoetmulder. Mike Zoetmulder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Jakue in the 66th minute of the match. SCARFACE's César Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huub Gerrits in the 75th minute of play. Zxavian Goyanes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Mike Zoetmulder made a huge save.
