In the 24th minute Duminku Schembri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Casa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Vendra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ġorġ Scriha came free, but Etienne Cutajar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Vendra F.C.'s Mark Snider tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ġorġ Scriha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etienne Cutajar having to interfere. If Clyde Buhaġiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duminku Schembri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clyde Buhaġiar in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ismael Casa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ismael Casa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Duminku Schembri showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vendra F.C. fully deserved thier win.
