With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daryl Taliana in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tyrone Terribile saved Skull Tower MFC from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Skull Tower MFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daryl Taliana came free, but Tyrone Terribile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Arthur Bugelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tyrone Terribile didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daryl Taliana went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

When Alessio Xuereb fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liverpool's protests and gave Alessio Xuereb a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noel Testa got free with Tyrone Terribile in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes into the game, Thomas Deguara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Jake Gordon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Liverpool players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
