After a rather tough play, Spartacus F.C.'s Matthew Bianco got a free kick in the 13th minute. Alessio Borg struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Matthew Falzon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spartacus F.C.. In the 23rd minute, Matthew Bianco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ethan Xuereb made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Alessio Rapinett sent off a good shot on target. When Matthew Bianco came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Spartacus F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthew Bianco couldn't finish the play. After 34 played minutes San Lawrenz FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Xuereb. Matthew Bianco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Matthew Bianco was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Spartacus F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gregory Testaferrata Abela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ethan Xuereb having to interfere. Spartacus F.C.'s Ethan Xuereb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessio Rapinett in the 75th minute of play. Simon Ellis hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Gregory Testaferrata Abela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
