When Cleaven Sullivan fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Ġwann Knights's protests and gave Cleaven Sullivan a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes San Ġwann Knights got a freekick which was hit by Cleaven Sullivan. Herbert Cornelisse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Benoir Dingli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. San Ġiljan's supporters were highly satisfied with the result.
