Spectators: 6864 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1864, VIP seats: 0) Ashley Felice made the kick off and thus started the match. After 5 played minutes Marfa got a freekick which was hit by Luigi Gili. Neil McElwee was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 6 minutes, Marc Dosami mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marfa and the Birguma players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marc Dosami hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Gavin Bandi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Birguma's Neil McElwee got a free kick in the 13th minute. Ashley Felice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Vince De Giovanni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ashley Felice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vince De Giovanni having to interfere. Gavin Bandi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Malcolm Trevisan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Bernard Salamone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vince De Giovanni having to interfere. Malcolm Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavin Bandi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

51 minutes into the game, Giorgio Worley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Birguma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marfa the free kick. Giorgio Worley kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Edmond Ciascun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 played minutes Gavin Bandi rounded Marfa's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. After a rather tough play, Birguma's Adrian Calascione got a free kick in the 60th minute. Marfa's Bernard Salamone got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vince De Giovanni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Salamone, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Ashley Felice notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Birguma's Vince De Giovanni. Vince De Giovanni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Ashley Felice came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Marfa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ashley Felice couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavin Bandi in the 82nd minute of play forced Marfa's goalkeeper Malcolm Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ashley Felice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vince De Giovanni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Salamone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gavin Bandi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Trevisan having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Birguma players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marfa.
