Ashley Felice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Arapa having to interfere. Marc Dosami hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Samuel Bajo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Malcolm Trevisan made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Luigi Gili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malcolm Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Bajo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marfa's Malcolm Trevisan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Marfa from getting a goal against them. Ashley Felice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Templars FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Neil Polidano hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Marfa's Mattia Rossignaud tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Luigi Gili charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luigi Gili the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Templars FC booed when Marfa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luigi Gili didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Templars FC got a corner. Marfa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Steve Grixti ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Templars FC's corner Steve Grixti fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Malcolm Trevisan quite easily take care of the ball. Samuel Bajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Trevisan having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Marfa's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Bajo came free, but Malcolm Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ashley Felice was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Samuel Bajo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Templars FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Bajo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Isaac Saguna made a precise shot to the right of Malcolm Trevisan. Marfa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of Marfa booed when Templars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Camilleri Parlato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Arapa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ashley Felice, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 71 played minutes Templars FC got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Camilleri Parlato. Angelo Arapa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernard Salamone in the 73rd minute. Angelo Arapa made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Bernard Salamone sent off a good shot on target. Malcolm Trevisan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Bajo's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Isaac Saguna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Isaac Saguna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Templars FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Saguna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malcolm Trevisan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Samuel Bajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malcolm Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Bajo in the 90th minute of the match. Gerard Sciortino hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Templars FC had won after a very even match.
