Leo Cesare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Nappa in the 6th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match Philip Simler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jurgen Chircop showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Frederick Barthet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Matthew Nappa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leo Cesare was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lawrence Vella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Cesare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Nappa in the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Swieqi Wanderers's Frederick Barthet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jurgen Chircop. Jurgen Chircop yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 35 minutes into the game, Frederick Barthet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jurgen Chircop. Frederick Barthet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Jurgen Chircop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Carl Diedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Clayton Vancell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leo Cesare having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Matthew Nappa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Cesare was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clayton Vancell in the 43rd minute of play forced Swieqi Wanderers's goalkeeper Leo Cesare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matthew Nappa to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Clayton Vancell made a precise shot to the right of Leo Cesare. Swieqi Wanderers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Carl Diedo in the 63rd minute of play forced Parisot FC's goalkeeper Jurgen Chircop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Parisot FC's zone, Frederick Barthet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jurgen Chircop came out of the goal and Frederick Barthet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Frederick Barthet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Swieqi Wanderers's Leo Cesare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Swieqi Wanderers from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, one of Parisot FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Parisot FC. In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Swieqi Wanderers. Jeremy Bezzina stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jurgen Chircop. 3-2. Frederick Barthet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurgen Chircop having to interfere. When Lawrence Vella fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parisot FC's protests and gave Lawrence Vella a yellow card for diving instead. Parisot FC's Jurgen Chircop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Carl Diedo in the 97th minute of play. Swieqi Wanderers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
