Gilbert Alessandro kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Marsascala Dynamos's Anthony Mamo got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Adam Azzopardi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tuna Chunks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marsascala Dynamos the free kick. After having played for 13 minutes, Matt Manicolo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marsascala Dynamos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matt Manicolo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Anthony Mamo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Keith Casha. Anthony Mamo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Anthony Mamo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keith Casha was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Anthony Mamo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Tyron Cassar Torreggiani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anthony Mamo to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Patrick Tufignio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Marsascala Dynamos getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Nathan Grima hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, William Demicoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Tuna Chunks's goal looked a bit too open when Matt Manicolo came free, but Keith Casha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christopher Borg Xuereb had several of the Marsascala Dynamos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Pierre Bartolo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tyron Cassar Torreggiani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Keith Casha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Mamo in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Marsascala Dynamos's goalkeeper Pierre Bartolo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christopher Borg Xuereb. After a defensive mix-up in Tuna Chunks's zone, Anthony Mamo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keith Casha came out of the goal and Anthony Mamo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Keith Casha came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Marsascala Dynamos's Anthony Mamo. But to his dismay, Anthony Mamo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 89th minute, Ryan Savona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Marsascala Dynamos fully deserved thier win.
