Spectators: 8303 (Terracing: 6345, Seating: 1945, VIP seats: 13) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ryan Ciantar took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th match minute, Tuna Chunks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Azzopardi to maneuver through the defense. When Ryan Ciantar came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Mellieħa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryan Ciantar couldn't finish the play. Tuna Chunks's Keith Casha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Massimo Pace in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Peter Debono cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Keith Casha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th match minute, Tuna Chunks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Tufignio to maneuver through the defense. Frederick Grech's late challenge caught a Mellieħa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frederick Grech helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tuna Chunks getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Frederick Grech hit a great ball. Ryan Ciantar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Keith Casha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Stephen Tabone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kurt Mangion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christopher Borg Xuereb in the 35th minute of play. If Massimo Pace had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christopher Borg Xuereb stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Tuna Chunks's goalkeeper Keith Casha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Massimo Pace. In the 57th minute, Domenic Debono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Massimo Pace could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Keith Casha made a huge save. In the 60th minute Adam Azzopardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Mangion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tuna Chunks's Keith Casha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Ciantar in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Peter Debono managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mellieħa's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Debono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keith Casha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Debono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keith Casha having to interfere. Tuna Chunks's Keith Casha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Ciantar in the 74th minute of play. Keith Casha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Massimo Pace in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Massimo Pace got free with Keith Casha in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the game, Massimo Pace cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Keith Casha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the game, Ryan Ciantar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Keith Casha. Ryan Ciantar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Peter Debono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keith Casha having to interfere. Tuna Chunks's Keith Casha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Debono in the 96th minute of play.
