Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antoine Genovese took the kick off in the first half of the match. Matt Manicolo struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Malcolm Griffin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marsascala Dynamos. With a little luck, Drac Juve's Malcolm Griffin got control of the ball when Anthony Mamo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anthony Mamo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Marsascala Dynamos defense, Antoine Genovese kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierre Bartolo. The Marsascala Dynamos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierre Bartolo should have stopped the shot. Pierre Bartolo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoine Genovese, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Anthony Mamo struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Malcolm Griffin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marsascala Dynamos. Pierre Bartolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Agius in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Marsascala Dynamos getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Tyron Cassar Torreggiani hit a great ball. Pierre Bartolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Agius in the 32nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Matt Manicolo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Malcolm Griffin. That made the score 1-1 in the 35 minute of play. Anthony Mamo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthony Mamo struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Malcolm Griffin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marsascala Dynamos. Anthony Mamo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Malcolm Griffin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Alex Azzopardi fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drac Juve's protests and gave Alex Azzopardi a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes Drac Juve got a freekick which was hit by Alex Azzopardi. In the 48th minute, Tyron Cassar Torreggiani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anthony Mamo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyron Cassar Torreggiani in the 56th minute of play forced Drac Juve's goalkeeper Malcolm Griffin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Drac Juve's Alex Azzopardi got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Alex Azzopardi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drac Juve's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Azzopardi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matt Manicolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malcolm Griffin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Mamo in the 72nd minute of play. William Agius in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pierre Bartolo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Malcolm Griffin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Mamo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 79 minutes of play, Marsascala Dynamos's Matt Manicolo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Malcolm Griffin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when William Agius got free with Pierre Bartolo in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anthony Mamo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Griffin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Azzopardi in the 88th minute of play forced Marsascala Dynamos's goalkeeper Pierre Bartolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play Marsascala Dynamos's Tyron Cassar Torreggiani was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 89 played minutes Marsascala Dynamos got a freekick which was hit by Tyron Cassar Torreggiani. Antoine Genovese charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antoine Genovese the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. William Agius took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pierre Bartolo. Pierre Bartolo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
