In the 70th match minute, Red Redemption was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Bigeni to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Resurrection booed when Red Redemption was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Bigeni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jake Terribile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Owen Bruno having to interfere. FC Resurrection's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederick Cefai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clayton Camilleri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Griffin in the 91st minute of the match. Red Redemption's Ben Griffin got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
