Les diables de Chamonix's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albert Town the free kick. After 9 played minutes Les diables de Chamonix got a freekick which was hit by Evan Felice. When Jurgen Degabriele fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albert Town's protests and gave Jurgen Degabriele a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Albert Town's Jurgen Degabriele got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Liam Cassar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jason Gafà was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jason Gafà made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Cassar in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Laudi in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jason Gafà saved Albert Town from getting behind. Jason Gafà took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Laudi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jason Gafà showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liam Cassar in the 26th minute of the match. Paul Laudi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liam Cassar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilbert Curmi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nathaniel Cassola went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Les diables de Chamonix's Liam Cassar in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Albert Town's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Laudi in the 39th minute of play forced Albert Town's goalkeeper Jason Gafà to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jason Gafà took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liam Cassar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jason Gafà showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Laudi, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Jason Gafà stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Laudi's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jason Gafà made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Laudi in the 56th minute. Liam Cassar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evan Felices short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Jason Gafà to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jason Gafà made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Laudi in the 60th minute of play. When Edward Fiott came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Les diables de Chamonix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Fiott couldn't finish the play. Evan Felice did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Jason Gafà 63 minutes into the match. If Liam Cassar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, one of Albert Town:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Liam Cassar shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Jason Gafà took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liam Cassar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeo Brincat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jason Gafà made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Amadeo Brincat sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evan Felice in the 78th minute of play forced Albert Town's goalkeeper Jason Gafà to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Fiott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Gafà having to interfere. Les diables de Chamonix's Vince Zammit managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bernard Montebello in the 82 minute of the game. After 83 minutes of play Les diables de Chamonix's Evan Felice was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 83 played minutes Les diables de Chamonix got a freekick which was hit by Evan Felice. Jason Gafà took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Fiott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Charlo Hamilton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilbert Curmi. Les diables de Chamonix's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charlo Hamilton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Amadeo Brincat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Gafà having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Paul Laudi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Edward Fiott might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jason Gafà. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Fiott ran back to his position shaking his head. Les diables de Chamonix were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
