After having played for 27 minutes, Julian Sultana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valetta Pirates FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Sultana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Sultana in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean Paul Camoin saved Msida from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Sultana in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean Paul Camoin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Sultana in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean Paul Camoin saved Msida from getting behind. Julian Sultana did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Jean Paul Camoin 40 minutes into the match. Shawn Seracino Inglott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carl Soler was the one to do the kick off. Jean Paul Camoin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Fiteni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean Paul Camoin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Sultana's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Shawn Seracino Inglott took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean Paul Camoin. Jean Paul Camoin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After 68 played minutes Msida got a freekick which was hit by Salvatore Xiberras. In the 69th minute, Julian Sultana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean Paul Camoin was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After having played for 73 minutes, Julian Sultana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valetta Pirates FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Sultana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Msida defense, Julian Sultana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean Paul Camoin. The Msida fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean Paul Camoin should have stopped the shot. If Shawn Seracino Inglott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 82 minutes into the game, Valetta Pirates FC's Shawn Seracino Inglott nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jean Paul Camoin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. The audience was convinced that Shawn Seracino Inglott's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean Paul Camoin was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Julian Sultana sped through Msida's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jean Paul Camoin. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Julian Sultana put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jean Paul Camoin.
