Severino Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Frederick Hili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilmos Szikora hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Darren Carabott made a precise shot to the right of Frederick Hili. Banter FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Banter FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carlo Camilleri 11 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. After 17 played minutes Eleven Young Elephants got a freekick which was hit by Zlatko Zahovič. Aaron Tanti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Paul Preca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Eleven Young Elephants's Severino Bueno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frederick Hili. Frederick Hili yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. 30 minutes into the game, Eleven Young Elephants's Darren Carabott nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederick Hili made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 33 minutes into the match, Darren Carabott had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederick Hili. Banter FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darren Carabott was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Eleven Young Elephants's Zlatko Zahovič got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frederick Hili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatko Zahovič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederick Hili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darren Carabott went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Banter FC's Frederick Hili got control of the ball when Darren Carabott tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darren Carabott got free with Frederick Hili in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severino Bueno to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Severino Bueno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Banter FC's Frederick Hili was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frederick Hili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederick Hili didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Eleven Young Elephants's Severino Bueno shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Zlatko Zahovič took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederick Hili. Frederick Hili dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Severino Bueno scored 11-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frederick Hili, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the game, Eleven Young Elephants's Severino Bueno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederick Hili made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. Banter FC's Frederick Hili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatko Zahovič in the 71st minute of play. Darren Carabott scored 13-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frederick Hili, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Banter FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatko Zahovič came free, but Frederick Hili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederick Hili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severino Bueno went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. Frederick Hili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Carabott in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Severino Bueno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frederick Hili was frozen by the shot and now it was 15-0. In the 84th minute, Vilmos Szikora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Eleven Young Elephants booed when Banter FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrew Desira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Banter FC defense, Zlatko Zahovič kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frederick Hili. The Banter FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frederick Hili should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Severino Bueno notched a goal, 17-0, to the right of Banter FC's Frederick Hili. Frederick Hili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 93 minutes, Brandon Zahra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banter FC and the Eleven Young Elephants players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brandon Zahra hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match Fabio Savona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frederick Hili showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Peter Paul Testa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Eleven Young Elephants fully deserved thier win.
