Ad Astra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sean Haber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xgħajra Rangers's Stephen England suffered a torn muscle in his knee after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Roderick Scalpello fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ad Astra's protests and gave Roderick Scalpello a yellow card for diving instead. Roderick Scalpello kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sean Haber got free with Sean Abos in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Sean Haber came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ad Astra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sean Haber couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Sean Haber made the kick off in the second half. Sean Abos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Haber in the 52nd minute of play. Sean Abos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Manduca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Ad Astra's Sean Haber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Sean Haber sped through Xgħajra Rangers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sean Abos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Haber in the 84th minute of play forced Xgħajra Rangers's goalkeeper Sean Abos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sean Abos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Haber, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Luke Attard took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sean Abos. Sean Abos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Sean Haber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 93rdth minute of the game Sean Haber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xgħajra Rangers's Sean Abos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dennis Worley kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Sean Haber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ad Astra fully deserved thier win.
