Jason Francalanzas short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Ricardo Gabon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ricardo Gabon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jason Francalanza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Edgar Sigfridsson made a precise shot to the right of John Gulia. Bianconeri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Edgar Sigfridsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of John Gulia. Bianconeri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Sigfridsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. John Gulia came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Ponticella Stars's Giovanni Borg. But to his dismay, Giovanni Borg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. John Gulia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Tieri went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. John Gulia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Sigfridsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Giovanni Borg scored 0-6 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of John Gulia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Bianconeri defense, Baldomiro Poncio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John Gulia. The Bianconeri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Gulia should have stopped the shot. Ciro Tieri took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Gulia. John Gulia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Bianconeri's John Gulia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Sigfridsson in the 39th minute of play. Edgar Sigfridsson succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-9. John Gulia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Poncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Giovanni Borg made a precise shot to the right of John Gulia. Bianconeri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-10 lead.

In the 55th match minute, Bianconeri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Demanuele to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Gerada during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. John Gulia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Poncio in the 58th minute of play. John Gulia didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 0-12. John Gulia was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Baldomiro Poncio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baldomiro Poncio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-13. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Francalanza in the 66th minute of play forced Ponticella Stars's goalkeeper Ricardo Gabon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bianconeri's John Gulia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Sigfridsson in the 67th minute of play. John Gulia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Poncio in the 72nd minute of play. After 72 minutes of play, Ponticella Stars's Ciro Tieri made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. John Gulia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ponticella Stars made a substitution. Adrian Lowell replaced Ciro Tieri. John Gulia made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Adrian Lowell sent off a good shot on target. John Gulia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Borg in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Bianconeri's goalkeeper John Gulia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Sigfridsson. John Gulia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Poncio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John Gulia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Borg in the 84th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Halil Onul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ponticella Stars's John Dingli was substituted for Giovanni Borg. After 85 played minutes Bianconeri got a freekick which was hit by Halil Onul. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgar Sigfridsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving John Gulia. That made the score 0-15 in the 86 minute of play. Bianconeri's John Gulia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Bianconeri from getting a goal against them. John Gulia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but John Dingli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-16 in the 91 minute of play. The supporters of Ponticella Stars booed when Bianconeri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Gerada didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Edgar Sigfridsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ponticella Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Sigfridsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Bianconeri fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ponticella Stars were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
