In the 45th minute, Peter Paul Testa made a precise shot to the right of Luigi Valletta. San Ġwann Athletic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bastjan Portelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Banter FC fully deserved thier win.
