He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VALLETTA WHITE STARS reached it. In the 6th minute Anton Gafà shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Pasqual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of VALLETTA WHITE STARS booed when Norrlands Guld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Bezzina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norrlands Guld's Everardo Pasqual played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jake Spiteri in the 10th minute of play. Everardo Pasqual stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jake Spiteri's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The supporters of VALLETTA WHITE STARS booed when Norrlands Guld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ethan Musu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jake Spiteri in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everardo Pasqual saved Norrlands Guld from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Anton Gafà had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everardo Pasqual. Norrlands Guld's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Gafà was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 37th minute, Nicholas Quintano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everardo Pasqual was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Everardo Pasqual came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by VALLETTA WHITE STARS's Jake Spiteri. But to his dismay, Jake Spiteri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

VALLETTA WHITE STARS's Juan Borg was substituted for Dante Van Beersel. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Fenech Adami was the one to do the kick off. Ethan Musu kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Nicholas Quintano could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Everardo Pasqual however easily saved by the left post. In the 59th match minute, Norrlands Guld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Bezzina to maneuver through the defense. Norrlands Guld's Everardo Pasqual proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Norrlands Guld from getting a goal against them. Anton Gafà struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Everardo Pasqual didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VALLETTA WHITE STARS. Thanks to some nice moves Anton Gafà could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Everardo Pasqual however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Paul Dingli in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Pasqual prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A well-hit corner resulted in Alex Marmara heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Paul Dingli in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Pasqual prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute Kenneth Miggiani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Pasqual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to VALLETTA WHITE STARS getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Nicholas Quintano hit a great ball. Everardo Pasqual made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Nicholas Quintano sent off a good shot on target. Norrlands Guld's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Nicholas Quintano scored to the left of an out of position Everardo Pasqual, making the score, 0-6. VALLETTA WHITE STARS's Chris Abdilla was substituted for Nicholas Quintano. Alex Incorvaia's late challenge caught a Norrlands Guld's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Incorvaia helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Norrlands Guld booed when VALLETTA WHITE STARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Incorvaia didn't get a good kick on the ball.
