Everardo Pasqual came out of the goal and Alex Ghigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everardo Pasqual showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evan Gafà, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Qala St. Joseph's Evan Gafà nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Everardo Pasqual made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 28th minute Alex Ghigo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Qala St. Joseph's Mario Borg Xuereb was substituted for Alex Ghigo. In the 30th match minute, Norrlands Guld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Attard to maneuver through the defense. Nicholas Haber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Pasqual read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evan Gafà in the 34th minute of play forced Norrlands Guld's goalkeeper Everardo Pasqual to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Borg Xuereb in the 56th minute of play forced Norrlands Guld's goalkeeper Everardo Pasqual to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes Norrlands Guld got a freekick which was hit by Kyriakos Siöberg. After 58 minutes of play, Qala St. Joseph's Charlo Depasquale made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Everardo Pasqual was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabio Testaferrata Moroni Viani made in the 63rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Charlo Depasquale. Alessio Pullicino Orlando struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Everardo Pasqual didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Qala St. Joseph. In the 65th minute, Nathan Debono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Qala St. Joseph made a substitution. Francesco Bailey replaced Etienne Ghio. A collision led to Norrlands Guld getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nathan Debono hit a great ball. Norrlands Guld's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Mario Borg Xuereb scored to the left of an out of position Everardo Pasqual, making the score, 0-3. Charlo Depasquale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Everardo Pasqual tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Norrlands Guld's Kyriakos Siöberg got a free kick in the 79th minute. Everardo Pasqual made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evan Gafà in the 80th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Alexander Blanco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everardo Pasqual. Norrlands Guld's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Blanco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 94 minutes into the match, Norrlands Guld's goalkeeper Everardo Pasqual had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Borg Xuereb. Qala St. Joseph's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
