VALLETTA WHITE STARS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diamond Eyes the free kick. In the 14th minute, Jake Spiteri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Jake Spiteri might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Demicoli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jake Spiteri ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Quintano in the 20th minute of play forced Diamond Eyes's goalkeeper Sebastian Demicoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Nicholas Quintano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Demicoli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Sebastian Demicoli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from William Gummeson went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Kenneth Miggiani kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Jake Spiteri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Demicoli having to interfere. VALLETTA WHITE STARS's Chris Abdilla was substituted for Nicholas Quintano. After 93rd play minutes Jake Spiteri shot 0-16, a short shot which went by Sebastian Demicoli and just under the crossbar into goal. VALLETTA WHITE STARS played a much better game than Diamond Eyes and deserved their victory. The Diamond Eyes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
