Tyrone Tabone might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacob Engerer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabrizio Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Jason Schembri Zerafa notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Naxxar Hotspurs's Jacob Engerer. The audience was convinced that Tyrone Tabone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacob Engerer was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrone Tabone in the 43rd minute of play forced Naxxar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Jacob Engerer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernard Fiorentino to make the kick off. Jacob Engerer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Botond Petres in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Naxxar Hotspurs's goal looked a bit too open when Ruhut Tutuarima came free, but Jacob Engerer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes in the game, Jason Schembri Zerafa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jacob Engerer having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Mattia Cacciottolo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Naxxar Hotspurs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maleth F.C. the free kick. After having played for 60 minutes, Tyrone Tabone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maleth F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tyrone Tabone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frederick Pulè showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Fiorentino, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Tyrone Tabone struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Jacob Engerer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maleth F.C.. 68 minutes into the match, Naxxar Hotspurs's goal looked a bit too open when Botond Petres came free, but Jacob Engerer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Naxxar Hotspurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xandru Ciangura to maneuver through the defense. Fabrizio Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Engerer having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Jason Schembri Zerafa rounded Naxxar Hotspurs's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. Tyrone Tabone succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. Tyrone Tabone in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacob Engerer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 89 in the game by Tyrone Tabone from a close distance when the talented Jacob Engerer managed to make a qualified save. Naxxar Hotspurs's players were relieved. Jason Schembri Zerafa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Engerer having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Fabrizio Hamilton made a precise shot to the right of Jacob Engerer. Naxxar Hotspurs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Maleth F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
