Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) Dwejra's Giorgio Marmara started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Ivan Attard notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Diamond Eyes's Sebastian Demicoli. Sebastian Demicoli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ivan Attard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Demicoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgio Marmara in the 16th minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Giorgio Marmara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diamond Eyes's Sebastian Demicoli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dwejra's David Schiavone slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastian Demicoli. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. David Schiavones short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Sebastian Demicoli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Diamond Eyes's Sebastian Demicoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgio Marmara in the 27th minute of play. Sebastian Demicoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgio Marmara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes Dwejra got a freekick which was hit by Alan Vella. The supporters of Diamond Eyes booed when Dwejra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Vella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Demicoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgio Marmara in the 34th minute of play. David Schiavone's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Sebastian Demicoli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dwejra's Ivan Attard got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Alan Vella could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Sebastian Demicoli however easily saved by the left post. In the 42nd minute, Ivan Attard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Diamond Eyes's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgio Marmara came free, but Sebastian Demicoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Ivan Attard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Sebastian Demicoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Diamond Eyes's Miguel Mugliett got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Daniel Galea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dwejra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Galea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Demicoli came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Dwejra's Giorgio Marmara. But to his dismay, Giorgio Marmara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Sebastian Demicoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgio Marmara in the 60th minute of the match. James Conti took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Demicoli. Sebastian Demicoli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Dwejra made a substitution. Kyle Xiberras replaced James Conti. In the 70th minute, David Schiavone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivan Attard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Sebastian Demicoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Dwejra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Schiavone to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Demicoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Schiavone, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Sebastian Demicoli didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Dwejra's Giorgio Marmara shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Sebastian Demicoli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Attard's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Attard in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Demicoli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dwejra's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
