Gregory Galea Testaferrata ran back to his position shaking his head. Everardo Pasqual stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luke Spagnol's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After some careless play in the Birguma defense, Gregory Galea Testaferrata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Rossignaud. The Birguma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Rossignaud should have stopped the shot. Mario Bezzina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Rossignaud having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Birguma got a freekick which was hit by Julian Depares. Gregory Galea Testaferrata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Birguma's David Rossignaud proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Birguma from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kyriakos Siöberg got free with David Rossignaud in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the match, Neil Gaffiero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everardo Pasqual. Norrlands Guld's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Neil Gaffiero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4.
