Spectators: 10829 (Terracing: 8123, Seating: 2490, VIP seats: 216) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Song Wei Yun kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Song Wei Yun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baran Eroğlu. Song Wei Yun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Song Wei Yun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Jansson in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baran Eroğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Seraċini Għawdxin's Bennvar Noobel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan De Marco in the 11th minute of play. Song Wei Yun's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Baran Eroğlu firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 14 minutes Highbury Boys 1896's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Neil Degabriele who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Seraċini Għawdxin's Adam Jansson to fire away a dangerous shot which Baran Eroğlu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ryan De Marco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan De Marco in the 18th minute of play forced Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Bennvar Noobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baran Eroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Song Wei Yun in the 19th minute of play. Bennvar Noobel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan De Marco in the 20th minute of the match. Song Wei Yun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baran Eroğlu having to interfere. Bennvar Noobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan De Marco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's goal looked a bit too open when Ryan De Marco came free, but Bennvar Noobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan De Marco in the 37th minute of play forced Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Bennvar Noobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Song Wei Yun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Baran Eroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Seraċini Għawdxin were awarded a corner. Neil Degabriele went to the cornerflag to take it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ryan De Marco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baran Eroğlu came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Seraċini Għawdxin's Song Wei Yun. But to his dismay, Song Wei Yun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Highbury Boys 1896's Sindre Tverberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fernando Negro in the 54 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Song Wei Yun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baran Eroğlu was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After taking down the ball on Seraċini Għawdxin's corner Neil Degabriele fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Baran Eroğlu quite easily take care of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Song Wei Yun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baran Eroğlu. Highbury Boys 1896's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Song Wei Yun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Baran Eroğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Song Wei Yun in the 70th minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Highbury Boys 1896 got a freekick which was hit by Leon Refalo. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Seraċini Għawdxin's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
