The corner went over the outstretched arms of Attard Gunners's goalie and right to Samuel Griffin. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Attard Gunners's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Sergen Sergen came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Attard Gunners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergen Sergen couldn't finish the play. Bennvar Noobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergen Sergen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Attard Gunners's goal looked a bit too open when Song Wei Yun came free, but Jay Jowsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Victor Hugo Basso fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seraċini Għawdxin's protests and gave Victor Hugo Basso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd play minute Sergen Sergen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bennvar Noobel. 2-3. 87 minutes into the match, Sergen Sergen notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Seraċini Għawdxin's Bennvar Noobel. Bennvar Noobel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rdth minute of the game Patrick Izzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seraċini Għawdxin's Bennvar Noobel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Seraċini Għawdxin's Bennvar Noobel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Savona in the 95th minute of play. Attard Gunners were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Seraċini Għawdxin's much stronger midfield.
