Seraċini Għawdxin's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Neil Degabriele in the 26th minute. Patryk Siekierski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Griffin went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Song Wei Yun in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patryk Siekierski saved Swatar United FC from getting behind. The Swatar United FC fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Swatar United FC's Mario Salerno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
