The goalkeeper, Ardi Gilevski, was totally fooled by Skopje Wanderers FC's Artan Gičevski, who 13 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Skopje Wanderers FC's Kliment Miladinov got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes Skopje Wanderers FC got a freekick which was hit by Blaže Dončevski. Skopje Wanderers FC's Dragoljub Mateski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidan Spasenov in the 18th minute of play. Dragoljub Mateski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sime Amiti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dragoljub Mateski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidan Spasenov in the 27th minute of play. Sime Amiti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Fidan Spasenov notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Skopje Wanderers FC's Dragoljub Mateski. Dragoljub Mateski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Fidan Spasenov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stevan Zaevski was the one to do the kick off. Dragoljub Mateski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidan Spasenov in the 53rd minute of the match. Slavko Ordanovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ardi Gilevski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Skopje Wanderers FC's zone, Fidan Spasenov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragoljub Mateski came out of the goal and Fidan Spasenov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sime Amiti might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dragoljub Mateski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sime Amiti ran back to his position shaking his head. Kliment Miladinov kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Arilevo's Milovan Dimov tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Stevan Zaevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the game, Skopje Wanderers FC's Slavko Ordanovski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ardi Gilevski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Skopje Wanderers FC's Kliment Miladinov got a free kick in the 78th minute. The supporters of Skopje Wanderers FC booed when Arilevo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veljan Cuculoski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artan Gičevski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nikita Veselinov scored 3-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dragoljub Mateski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Skopje Wanderers FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
