In the 4th match minute, FC Energie Cottbus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavle Carevski to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Orce Smilenski in the 5th minute of play was well struck, but Dimitar Tupurkovski made a really good save at the right post. 12 minutes into the match, Struga Sloga's goal looked a bit too open when Zafir Jakovlevski came free, but Nikodim Gocevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dritan Aliti struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Nikodim Gocevski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Energie Cottbus. The audience was convinced that Nestor Pavlovski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitar Tupurkovski was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the match, FC Energie Cottbus's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Pavlovski came free, but Dimitar Tupurkovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikodim Gocevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zafir Jakovlevski in the 23rd minute of play. Nestor Pavlovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute of the match, Nestor Pavlovski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dimitar Tupurkovski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dimitar Tupurkovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Pavlovski in the 38th minute of the match. Nestor Pavlovski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dimitar Tupurkovski made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Antim Jordanov sent off a good shot on target. FC Energie Cottbus's Zafir Jakovlevski got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nestor Pavlovski to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Lurtim Dalov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Energie Cottbus's Dimitar Tupurkovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antim Jordanov in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Pavlovski in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimitar Tupurkovski saved FC Energie Cottbus from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Pavle Carevski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute Nestor Pavlovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitar Tupurkovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dritan Aliti made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 67thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Nikodim Gocevski would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Antim Jordanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitar Tupurkovski having to interfere. FC Energie Cottbus's Dimitar Tupurkovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Pavlovski in the 70th minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, FC Energie Cottbus's Dritan Aliti made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikodim Gocevski was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Antim Jordanov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitar Tupurkovski was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Toni Fidanovski charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toni Fidanovski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, Struga Sloga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Fidanovski to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Energie Cottbus walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
