In the 17th minute Tomislav Cvetanoski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nenad Iljovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Opate's Vegim Bardhi got a free kick in the 28th minute. Teofan Stefanovič received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vegim Bardhi to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Opate got a freekick which was hit by Gazmend Sofronieski. Teofan Stefanovič who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Dragoljub Gičevski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nenad Iljovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vegim Bardhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. A hard shot 83 in the game by Teofan Stefanovič from a close distance when the talented Dragoljub Gičevski managed to make a qualified save. Opate's players were relieved. In the 90th minute, Arse Ringov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Teofanovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragoljub Gičevski having to interfere.
