When Irinej Šiškovski came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Gostivar FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irinej Šiškovski couldn't finish the play. Tomasz Kuszczak made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Branslav Acev sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, ФК Партизан Македонија's Bedar Kočovski got a free kick in the 7th minute. Irinej Šiškovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Gostivar FK's Dobrica Gušev got a free kick in the 10th minute. Zvonko Ivkovič took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bogdan Konstantinov. Gostivar FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Bajuk Samoilovski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bogdan Konstantinov. Gostivar FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bajuk Samoilovski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Gostivar FK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ljuben Slavevski hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Bajuk Samoilovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Konstantinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gostivar FK's Bogdan Konstantinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miša Ilievski in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Nikodim Trajanovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Kuszczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Irinej Šiškovski could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Tomasz Kuszczak however easily saved by the left post. Miša Ilievski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bogdan Konstantinov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Nikodim Trajanovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogdan Konstantinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bajuk Samoilovski in the 39th minute of play. Tomasz Kuszczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branslav Acev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petrit Petkovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half ФК Партизан Македонија were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bajuk Samoilovski made a kick off. Branslav Acev struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Tomasz Kuszczak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gostivar FK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bajuk Samoilovski in the 53rd minute of play forced Gostivar FK's goalkeeper Bogdan Konstantinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irinej Šiškovski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Gostivar FK fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Gostivar FK's Branslav Acev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Branslav Acev in the 61st minute of play forced ФК Партизан Македонија's goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 played minutes Gostivar FK got a freekick which was hit by Irinej Šiškovski. Tomasz Kuszczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Branslav Acev in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match, Bajuk Samoilovski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bogdan Konstantinov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 71 minutes into the game, Nikodim Trajanovski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gostivar FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ФК Партизан Македонија the free kick. Tomasz Kuszczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petrit Petkovski in the 77th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ФК Партизан Македонија's zone, Branslav Acev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Kuszczak came out of the goal and Branslav Acev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petrit Petkovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tomasz Kuszczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Branslav Acev in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomasz Kuszczak saved ФК Партизан Македонија from getting behind. Irinej Šiškovski struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Tomasz Kuszczak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gostivar FK. Although Gostivar FK had been in control for most of the match, ФК Партизан Македонија still came away with the win.
