Manuel Silban took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 余岩勇. 余岩勇 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Iona Lightfoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Ceresso in the 14th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karim Benzema in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 余岩勇 saved FC Sheriff from getting behind. 17 minutes into the match, FC Sheriff's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Benzema came free, but 余岩勇 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute KARAORMAN were awarded a corner. Hipolito Misael went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led KARAORMAN's Hipolito Misael to fire away a dangerous shot which 余岩勇 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 22 minutes, Vladimir Capixaba made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. KARAORMAN's Iona Lightfoot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Benzema in the 25th minute of play forced FC Sheriff's goalkeeper 余岩勇 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Karim Benzema came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the KARAORMAN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karim Benzema couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Misael in the 46th minute of play forced FC Sheriff's goalkeeper 余岩勇 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

余岩勇 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Misael in the 54th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when 姜永弘 put in a rough tackle. 59 minutes into the game, Karim Benzema recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 余岩勇. Karim Benzema showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. 62 minutes into the match, Karim Benzema dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 余岩勇, 1-6. FC Sheriff's 余岩勇 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FC Sheriff from getting a goal against them. Hipolito Misael succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-7 in the 65th playminute. After some careless play in the FC Sheriff defense, Dalibor Stefanovski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 余岩勇. The FC Sheriff fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 余岩勇 should have stopped the shot. 72 minutes into the game, KARAORMAN's Hipolito Misael nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 余岩勇 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. After some careless play in the KARAORMAN defense, Boris Hristov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iona Lightfoot. The KARAORMAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iona Lightfoot should have stopped the shot. Dalibor Stefanovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 余岩勇 having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Boris Hristov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iona Lightfoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, FC Sheriff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sreten Spasenov to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 96 minutes, Karim Benzema managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KARAORMAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karim Benzema was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. KARAORMAN's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
