VUKOVAR 91's Tadeusz Frenzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikola Ackovski in the 44th minute of play. Eşref Kayraalp was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Djordje Mironovski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeusz Frenzel. VUKOVAR 91's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Djordje Mironovski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tase Cvetkovič stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FireFighter-Skopje booed when VUKOVAR 91 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalle Abelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 minutes of play, VUKOVAR 91's Elazar Osa made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Svetozar Čupič was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, Elazar Osa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Svetozar Čupič was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. Svetozar Čupič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elazar Osa in the 95th minute of play. VUKOVAR 91's Tadeusz Frenzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djordje Mironovski in the 98th minute of play. There was no doubt that VUKOVAR 91 were the better team. VUKOVAR 91's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
