Mondi Hod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Igor Stojkovič cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mondi Hod was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 29 minutes, Jovica Šulevski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Youth Academy and the NK BOROVO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Jovica Šulevski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Stojkovič got free with Mondi Hod in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Lledias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Jankovski in the 36th minute of the match. Mondi Hod showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 程振明, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Mondi Hod came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by NK BOROVO's Igor Stojkovič. But to his dismay, Igor Stojkovič quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Fabio Ayala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th match minute, NK BOROVO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Tabby to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Jovica Šulevski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and NK BOROVO's Francisco Lledias didn't even have to move. Youth Academy's Mondi Hod played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Stojkovič in the 73rd minute of play. When Cacko Stojanoski fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Youth Academy's protests and gave Cacko Stojanoski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacko Stojanoski to maneuver through the defense. Youth Academy's Mondi Hod played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Stojkovič in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Youth Academy's zone, 程振明 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mondi Hod came out of the goal and 程振明 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Youth Academy getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jovica Šulevski hit a great ball. NK BOROVO's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
