NK BOROVO's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Stojkovič was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeusz Frenzel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to NK BOROVO getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. In the 35thth minute of the game Fabian Villaescusa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK BOROVO's Francisco Lledias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Stojkovič got free with Tadeusz Frenzel in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. NK BOROVO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabio Ayala in the 41st minute. Fabio Ayala made a great header on NK BOROVO's corner, it was just that VUKOVAR 91's Tadeusz Frenzel managed to reach the ball for a save. Francisco Lledias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvar Nordgren went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.
