Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Franz Abendroth kicked off to start the match. Edward Kirsch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franz Abendroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute Jonathan Blumenthal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Kirsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Traube didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rochdale City. In the 12th match minute, Norton Radstock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Pickler to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Norton Radstock booed when Rochdale City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 18 played minutes Norton Radstock got a freekick which was hit by Edward Nassau-Weilburg. After a defensive mix-up in Norton Radstock's zone, Joseph Kachel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Traube came out of the goal and Joseph Kachel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harry Traube made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Markus Backhaus sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute, Rochdale City's Joseph Kachel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Edward Kirsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Abendroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Norton Radstock's Franz Abendroth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edward Kirsch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Rochdale City's Markus Backhaus got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Blumenthal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Rochdale City's Jan Himmelblau got a free kick in the 39th minute. If Franz Abendroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jonathan Blumenthal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joseph Kachel made a kick off. Jonathan Blumenthal might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Kirsch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Blumenthal ran back to his position shaking his head. When Joseph Kachel came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Rochdale City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Kachel couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Blumenthal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Kirsch having to interfere. Jonathan Blumenthal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Edward Kirsch skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edward Nassau-Weilburg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Blumenthal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Kirsch having to interfere. Franz Abendroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Blumenthal came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edward Kirsch could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Rochdale City's Lothar Schubert got a free kick in the 86th minute. Franz Abendroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Edward Kirsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Norton Radstock got a freekick which was hit by Klaus Goldschmidt. When Rochdale City's Joseph Kachel in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Norton Radstock's goalie prevented a goal. Edward Kirsch didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. If Joseph Kachel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rochdale City fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Norton Radstock were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
