Christof Lichtenstein was left in no man's land by his defense there! The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred Mutzel was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Jacques Fleischhacker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horndean's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacques Fleischhacker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christof Lichtenstein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lothar Rheingold charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lothar Rheingold the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Horndean got a freekick which was hit by Lothar Rheingold. Lothar Rheingold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christof Lichtenstein having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Gloucester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Beermann to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lothar Rheingold in the 64th minute of play forced Gloucester FC's goalkeeper Christof Lichtenstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacques Fleischhacker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christof Lichtenstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lothar Rheingold in the 76th minute of the match. Lothar Rheingold scored 3-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christof Lichtenstein, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute, Yannick Kaiser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Gloucester FC's Mark Breitbarth tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 91stth minute of the game Lothar Rheingold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gloucester FC's Christof Lichtenstein was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gloucester FC's zone, Jacques Fleischhacker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christof Lichtenstein came out of the goal and Jacques Fleischhacker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gloucester FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Horndean.
