Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Bodenschatz made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Lilleshall AFC's Axel Bodenschatz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Liam Mutzel. Liam Mutzel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, Milo Auf der Maur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lilleshall AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bishop Auckland the free kick. Milo Auf der Maur hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Mattias Hübsch spun around in front of the goal 9 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Lilleshall AFC's goal. Heiko Bachmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hellmuth Bauschinger, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Heiko Bachmann came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Bishop Auckland's Mattias Hübsch. But to his dismay, Mattias Hübsch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lilleshall AFC's Heiko Bachmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hellmuth Bauschinger in the 20th minute of play. Heiko Bachmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hellmuth Bauschinger in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Lilleshall AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Gerd Redoute hit a great ball. Bishop Auckland's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Philip Grünewald in the 35th minute. After taking down the ball on Bishop Auckland's corner Philip Grünewald fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Heiko Bachmann quite easily take care of the ball. Tom Pfannmöller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Liam Mutzel made a huge save. In the 46th minute, Mattias Hübsch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heiko Bachmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half Bishop Auckland were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mattias Hübsch to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eddy Becker during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bishop Auckland booed when Lilleshall AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Pflüger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mattias Hübsch in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heiko Bachmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tom Pfannmöller might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Liam Mutzel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tom Pfannmöller ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Bodenschatz in the 60th minute of play forced Bishop Auckland's goalkeeper Liam Mutzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Aaron Pflüger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liam Mutzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bishop Auckland's Frank von Knyphausen got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Hellmuth Bauschinger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bishop Auckland's supporters rose to their feet, but Hellmuth Bauschinger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heiko Bachmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tom Pfannmöller came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Lilleshall AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tom Pfannmöller couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute of the match Frank Altschuler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Liam Mutzel skillfully saved the ball. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Bishop Auckland. Philip Grünewald stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Heiko Bachmann. 2-3. In the 84thth minute of the game Axel Bodenschatz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bishop Auckland's Liam Mutzel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mattias Hübsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heiko Bachmann having to interfere. If Tom Pfannmöller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lilleshall AFC's Eddy Becker got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Eddy Becker off the ground. In the 96th minute, Eddy Becker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
