The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Adrian Aumeier managed to get in a good position for a shot. MARSHMELLOW's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Aumeier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dale Riley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrian Aumeier scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dale Riley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Heiko Baasch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graeme Hudson in the 11th minute of play. MARSHMELLOW's Heiko Baasch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graeme Hudson in the 13th minute of play. Graeme Hudson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heiko Baasch having to make a save. Adrian Aumeier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Riley having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claude Reuter during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Heiko Baasch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ethan Foreman in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute Graeme Hudson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiko Baasch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, MARSHMELLOW's goal looked a bit too open when Ethan Foreman came free, but Heiko Baasch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Heiko Baasch was a little too slow when Graeme Hudson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 57th minute, Berlights Fc CC's Graeme Hudson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Heiko Baasch was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ethan Foreman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 60 minute of play. Dale Riley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Aumeier in the 64th minute of play. Heiko Baasch was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Ethan Foreman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ethan Foreman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. In the 75th minute Des Chivers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiko Baasch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ethan Foreman struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Heiko Baasch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berlights Fc CC. Heiko Baasch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graeme Hudson, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Berlights Fc CC's Graeme Hudson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Heiko Baasch. That made the score 1-7 after 80 minutes of play. Dale Riley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Aumeier in the 84th minute of the match. Ethan Foreman scored 1-8 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heiko Baasch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Des Chivers notched a goal, 1-9, to the right of MARSHMELLOW's Heiko Baasch. Heiko Baasch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The MARSHMELLOW fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Berlights Fc CC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
