When Desert Fury's Bernhard Feldmann in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Déifferdeng 03's goalie prevented a goal. Edmund Behrend recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmund Behrend received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Peter Böckler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Axel Pickler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernhard Feldmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th match minute, FC Déifferdeng 03 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Klopp to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Pickler to make the kick off. When Axel Pickler came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Desert Fury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Pickler couldn't finish the play. Bernhard Feldmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Robert Kaiser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desert Fury's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ollie Hasselbach in the 72nd minute. After taking down the ball on Desert Fury's corner Ollie Hasselbach fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Robert Kaiser quite easily take care of the ball. Edmund Behrend's late challenge caught a Desert Fury's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmund Behrend helped the player get up and apologised. Edmund Behrend kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Bernhard Feldmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Axel Pickler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Kaiser was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Edmund Behrend fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Böckler having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Pickler in the 88th minute of play forced FC Déifferdeng 03's goalkeeper Robert Kaiser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liam von Ancken kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The FC Déifferdeng 03 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Desert Fury were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
