Karl Bruckert charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl Bruckert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Christof Grasmück sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Deportivo Maloso's Robin Glöckner didn't even have to move. After 18 minutes, Gerd Ludwick mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Maloso and the Andover City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Gerd Ludwick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robin Glöckner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franck Bismarck in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Maloso's goalkeeper Robin Glöckner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Franck Bismarck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Robin Glöckner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Glöckner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerd Fritz in the 33rd minute of play. Pol Kaiser was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Bruno Hildmann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bruno Hildmann really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Gerd Fritz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robin Glöckner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Robin Glöckner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudy Baumstein in the 49th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Hildmann was the one to do the kick off. Andover City's Pol Kaiser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Schleck in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Rudy Baumstein was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andover City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Maloso the free kick. Rudy Baumstein kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Pol Kaiser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Schleck's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 59th match minute, Andover City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Lentz to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Hildmann struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Pol Kaiser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Maloso. Karl Lentz hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Bruno Hildmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes in the game, Gerd Fritz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Robin Glöckner having to interfere. With a little luck, Deportivo Maloso's Robin Glöckner got control of the ball when Franck Bismarck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Samuel Schleck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pol Kaiser having to interfere. Gerd Fritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
