Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gerd Fritz started the match with the kick off. Gregory Roth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michael Lützel's late challenge caught a Andover City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Lützel helped the player get up and apologised. Michael Lützel hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Pierre-Joseph Bäcker hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Gregory Roth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Andover City's Pol Kaiser was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Gregory Roth came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Rodange fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregory Roth couldn't finish the play. In the 27th match minute, Andover City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Lentz to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Rodange's Julian Hahn broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Pol Kaiser came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rodange's Gregory Roth. But to his dismay, Gregory Roth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Gregory Roth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Gregory Roth made the kick off in the second half. If Nick Bruch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franck Bismarck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Glöckner having to interfere. Pol Kaiser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregory Roth in the 64th minute of the match. Nick Bruch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute of the match, Gregory Roth tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pol Kaiser saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With his leg Pol Kaiser managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Rodange's Gregory Roth fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 81 in the game by Nick Bruch from a close distance when the talented Pol Kaiser managed to make a qualified save. Andover City's players were relieved. Patrick Glöckner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerd Fritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregory Roth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Pol Kaiser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodange played a much better game than Andover City and deserved their victory. The Andover City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
