In the 10th minute, Leo Majerus sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Epsom FC's Karlheinz Schröder didn't even have to move. Wilhelm Hammes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, BUDAPEST's Oscar Majerus got control of the ball when Lars Habermann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hellmuth Redoute hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Klaus Gottschalk kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Christian Oberweis charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Oberweis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christian Oberweis hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Milo Luxembourg made a kick off. Lars Habermann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Majerus having to make a save. Oscar Majerus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lazlo Achenbach in the 57th minute of the match. Lazlo Achenbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Majerus having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Epsom FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while BUDAPEST had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
