Spectators: 6865 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1865, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ben Pritchard started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Ollie Gibson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leconfield and the Lincoln AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jack Howlett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Ludwick, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Mick Tudor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jack Howlett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kurt Goldstein during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Lincoln AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Goldstein. Lincoln AFC's Max Aumann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Pritchard in the 19th minute of play. Wilhelm Ludwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jack Howlett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Leconfield getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Shaun Pinder hit a great ball. Ollie Gibson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Max Aumann made a huge save. Wilhelm Ludwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Howlett having to interfere. Ollie Gibson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Max Aumann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Pritchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ollie Gibsons short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Max Aumann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 37th minute, Markus Wackernagel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Lincoln AFC's Ralph Bronstein nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jack Howlett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Wilhelm Ludwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jack Howlett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Mick Tudor made the kick off in the second half. Wilhelm Ludwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Howlett having to interfere. If Mick Tudor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes Lincoln AFC got a freekick which was hit by Willy Böhm. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ollie Gibson in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Max Aumann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 63 played minutes Leconfield got a freekick which was hit by Shaun Pinder. Wilhelm Ludwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wally Moody during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes Leconfield got a freekick which was hit by Wally Moody. Mick Tudor struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Jack Howlett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lincoln AFC. Ralph Bronstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mick Tudor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jack Howlett having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Leconfield's zone, Ralph Bronstein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jack Howlett came out of the goal and Ralph Bronstein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Wilhelm Ludwick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lincoln AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilhelm Ludwick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mick Tudor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ralph Bronstein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Jack Howlett made a huge save. In the 92nd match minute, Lincoln AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thom Weber to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mick Tudor in the 94th minute of play forced Leconfield's goalkeeper Jack Howlett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Lincoln AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Leconfield.
