After taking down the ball on FC Aarbechter Lëtzebuerg's corner Armin Bärwald fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raphaël von Knyphausen quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Harpenden getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jean-Claude Imhoff hit a great ball. Raphaël von Knyphausen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Kremer in the 35th minute. Felix Kremer in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raphaël von Knyphausen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Felix Kremer came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FC Aarbechter Lëtzebuerg fans jumped to their feet. Raphaël von Knyphausen came out of the goal and Felix Kremer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 68 minutes, Mattias Thimmesch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Aarbechter Lëtzebuerg and the Harpenden players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Aarbechter Lëtzebuerg's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Kremer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphaël von Knyphausen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raphaël von Knyphausen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Kremer's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. In the 97th minute, Felix Kremer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Aarbechter Lëtzebuerg walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
